Kangaroo club is a baby and toddler group who meet in the URC Church Hall weekly. They have been established for over 40 years!
Kangaroo Club meet Friday mornings from 10 - 11.15am during term time, there is a small fee per session for each family which includes refreshments for all. The baby and toddler group is said to be a real asset to Harpenden, many of the mums, dads, childminders and grandparents who attend often say how they look forward to Friday mornings where they are able to go out and meet other people in the same situation as themselves. They can come to the hall, relax and chat knowing their children are happy and playing in a safe environment. At the end of the sessions they have singing time, this activity is really very popular with the use musical instruments; the children have great fun playing these whilst singing along to the various songs. There is also a simple craft activity on offer to the children every week.
We believe that Kangaroo Club is a great way to introduce your child to the setting and our main room once you have registered your interest in the Preschool. The children can play in a setting that will become familiar to them and in turn will help with their settling in transition once they start with us. It is also a great way to meet other parents who are sending their children to the setting, and socialise with their friends at Preschool once they have started!
Kangaroo Club always look forward to seeing new faces on a Friday morning in the URC Church hall. Why not head over to their facebook page to find out more information about upcoming events and join their community today!
